I'm trying to decide on a sub to add to my polks. i have a pair of RTA 15TL and RTA 11T's and am running them with a sansui G9000 reciever. I have been researching before i venture out and listen and am interested in the definitive technology supercube series. anyone heard these or any other recommendations? the combination of these speakers is awsome but i am thinking that a quality sub will take them to the next level.

Check into the HSU subs. I'm very happy with how musical mine is.

Do you have a price range?
SDA SRS modded: X’ovrd, de-polyed, inductorized, interconnectorized, re-posted, dynamited, RDO’d, spiked, gasketed, ringed (Larry's), and grill cloth blinged! Done this on my own? Not a chance. Thanks to Raife and all who forged easy to follow upgrades. At least a 100% improvement in sound and my personal listening pleasure! :cheesygrin:Pass XP-10 preamp, Parasound A21 amp, Pioneer Elite DV-58AV (Ric Shultz modded), Audioquest Sky IC's, No longer need my Sunfire sub after mods...

I really like my HSU VTF MK3. Very good bang for the buck.

I'm also looking into subs but mostly for movies. Never heard HSU subs but I'll be using it with SDA's so any info on those would be awesome guys.

I've used Klipsch but don't know if HSU would be a better bang for buck?

    Info here: http://www.hsuresearch.com/subwoofers.html

    They have a forum: http://forum.hsuresearch.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2

The HSU VTF-3 is clean and accurate for music. I run it crossed over at 30 Hz because the SRS1.2's have all the other frequencies covered in spades. It provides the deep rumbles and concusions for movies without the bloat at 40-100Hz from other less capable subs. It provides granite-like reinforcement for the 32 foot pipes of an organ, the punch of a kick drum, and the attack of a bass string.
