Opinions/experience with Snell speakers?

I recently bought a set of Snell Type J-III speakers from a guy in Chicago on a lark.
I knew the woofers had rotted foam surrounds so I had those redone. Then it turns out both of the tweeters were bad too so I found a pair of replacements on e-bay and put those in. Probably have more $'s into them than I wanted to at this point, but stuck with it.
Pretty conventional, small floor standing/big bookshelf. Ported box, 8" Vifa woofer, 1" Vifa tweeter. Nice looking crossover and wiring inside.
Hooked them up to a little Cayin TA-30 tube amp and can't stop listening to them. Very musical, detailed, non-fatiguing. Not even broken in yet.
I am thinking about moving up the Snell line and buying some nicer ones if I can find them.
Anyone else tried Snells?

Basic but solidly engineered two way.Not sure if that revision was the work of P Snell or K Voecks.
