Has anyone heard or read when they plan to re-release Let it Be the movie on DVD ? I had heard several years ago it was in the works after they had confiscated all of the lost footage in Europe. Just wondering.

I have the Let It Be movie on VHS tape. I think it's actually a pretty rare find. I'm the biggest Beatles fan in the world but this movie does little for me. Aside from the rooftop concert which rocks, it's interesting, but not worth watchign again and again like the other films (Save Magical Mystery Tour - scary scary). It's also interesting to see George fighting with Paul

I would love to see a release for Let It Be.
They must have hours of footage that could be included with the boys jamming and rehearsing. -
I wouldn't mind seeing a DVD of this despite the boring nature of the rehearsal footage at Twickenham.
The rooftop concert would be fun to see again but in many ways it's sad that the Let It Be sessions pretty much spelled the end of the band.2 Channel:

I actually have it on DVD. I googled it a few years ago and it showed up on a site where I could order it from St. Petersburg, Russia. It took a few weeks for it to come in but I really did receive it. The movie quality was not that great...whole video was a little dark. But interesting to have for a Beatle fan. The rooftop concert was the last time they performed live together, so worth having just for that part alone.McIntosh MA252 Integrated Amp, LUMIN D2 Network Music Player, Yamaha Aventage RX-A840 receiver, Emotiva XPA Gen3 2 channel amp, Polk LSiM 703 speakers. Oppo UDP-203 Blu-Ray player, Polk LSiM 705 speakers. Polk Signature S20 speakers.
