Just got out my Polk 7Cs. I have owned these since in the Navy in the 80's new.
1 woofer is cracked out of the pair.
Everything else looks good

Been going over some of the old threads.
What is available to replace the woofer MW6502, (should change both of them out)
Maybe change the caps and the SL2000 tweeters?
Crossover BE0700-A
Are these 8 or 4 ohm?

I'm very good with a iron, but need to have a list with some part #s if possible

Thank You
Jim

Just look for another 6502. The caps should be changed, and most folks prefer the RDO-194 replacement for the SL2000. You can get them from Polk for $48 shipped if you mention that you are a Club Polk member,

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Crossover schematics are in a sticky at the top of this forum page. However, it's best to verify the part values on the actual crossover.

A thread I started will answer a lot of questions for your. I have monitor 10s but most of the tread will apply to your 7s.

Are the RDO-194 perfect drop in replacement for the SL2000, matching the screw holes on the speaker?
I find the SL2000 a bit fuzzy and distorted on one speaker.

The Polk documentation says that sometimes the screw holes will not always align perfectly, although for the seven sets of speakers I have here, all of the holes matched. I had the same problem with one of the tweeters in my 5B's, which was fixed by replacing it.
