Do RCA sub inputs bypass the crossover?

Hey,

So, since I got my PSW505, I've had an extra old, cheap powered sub laying around. I've been thinking about using it to add a sub when I hook my iPod up to things like small docks and other people's cheap computer speakers and such. I have a headphone splitter, so I would connect that to the iPod, and then connect the computer speakers into one of the headphone jacks, and then connect an RCA to headphone adapter into the other port. The RCA cables then go into the left and right RCA inputs on the sub. I know that the LFE input bypasses the sub crossover, but do the RCA inputs do the same? The only inputs on this sub are RCA and speaker level. If I do this, is the sub trying to play all of the frequencies? I'm hoping that the RCA inputs don't bypass the crossover so that I can play just the low freqs.

Thanks!

No, the RCA inputs go through the xover. Only the LFE input bypasses the xover.
