I have read that you should timber matching your speakers specially fronts. Is there such thing as timber matching subs? Or would any sub do the job (brand)?
I was looking at the PSW10 vs PSW110 or a BIC F12.
Any opinions on the matter would help.

The sub does not need to match at all. Looks like you are looking for a sub in the $200 range? Check out the psw505 on newegg. It is well regarded around here.

Others will recommend to save a little longer and get a larger sub too. What is the rest of your setup?
    Front - RTiA5's
    Rear - RTiA3's
    Center - CSiA4
    Sub - PSW110

I also think timbre matching goes w/subs UNLESS you use something like those little bose cubes as satalites because a lot of subs dont produce bass in the 100 hz area .
So what I am saying is if your satalites start at 120 hz you need a sub that goes up to that or you will have a big gap .
I figure you have decent main speakers you are just trying to add some deep low punch .
When buying a sub look for specifications the amount of decibles and how many decibles it looses when trying to go low , on a response graph if it looses 30db at 30 hz it produces MUCH less volume when 30 hz hits so movie explosions etc you may not really like it .
A good sub should only lose 10 db at 20 hz MAX , and provide 110 db within its bass range .

what do you clasify as a studio sub ?
    Wheels & metel grill ??
If thats so I found those are set up to not produce music as low as like deep explosions (movie stuff) but they produce a strong punchy type bass mainly because of the small cabinet size for the driver , I am sure some of them produce bass down to 20 hz and are awesome subs . But the type I saw use a 15-18" JBL or E/V in a ported cabinet around 3 cubic feet .
