Infinity SM215
Thoughts on these speakers? I don't need them, but someone's offering them in good shape without grilles and a cheapo receiver (imma toss it) for $40.
I'll prolly listen to them a bit then toss them in the pile. Worth it?

If you got the extra money to spare, why not?
They sound alright, but it's not a "great garage find." But down the line you'll get bored and someone else is gonna ask the same question. Will they buy it?2Ch Tube Audio Convert -
I have not heard them but, I have heard the SM155s. They are pretty good!Things are more like they are now than they ever will be!

Those SM series are about the same as Cerwin Vega's in my book. A speaker you can play loud as hell without caring if you blow them up.--Gary--

Maybe i'll just wait for some with an emit tweeter instead... pass! Picked up some Paradigm Atom mk1 the other day for $5Main Surround -

The SM's sound better than the CV's They are half way decent, but the thing that plagues them is the foam surrounds on the woofers dry out. They are better than the newer Infinity's.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

serious junk.
(if'n you were to ask me, that is) -
Owned them and liked them. They were the front channels of my first HT rig. The foam surrounds IMO are their downfall and I believe they had a "polycell" tweeter that could get harsh at times. I liked them for what they were and at $40, why not?Shawn
