I hate to spend the extra coin before I ask the question is it worth bi-wiring the lsi 25's ? Im thinking about spending a little extra on some nicer speaker wire's, and almost every where I look I see bi-wiring.

Some will tell yes or no, only you can be the judge on any SQ gains by bi-wireing. Only one way to find out.

Since you've got an amplifier, driving it bi-wired will be easy. When using a receiver, it's harder to drive with the subwoofer attached to the speaker in vs the Line-in or LFE-in. Personally, I don't see the benefit of bi-wiring over single-wiring+jumpers, but I'm sure I'll figure it out at some point. Obviously there are benefits to bi-amping, but the LSi25 is already bi-amped.

Personally, I have my receiver power the HF set (which are crossed at 80), then I use RCA cables from the subwoofer out to the LFE-in of the subwoofers.

Try it all different ways and figure out what you like.

Read this thread before you decide bi-wiring.

If you have a high power / high current amp using with LSi25, all you need is a single pair of good speaker wires connected to LSi25 from your amp.
Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin:
