room size too small ?
I'm moving next month, and the room I'll be using for my HT is roughly 12'x24'.
I have Tsi400 fronts, Tsi100 surrounds, a CS10 center, and a PSW111 sub running through a Sony STR-DH810. I'm wondering of my room is going to be too small for this set up.
I also have a set of RM8s which have been in boxes for a while, and could be used instead.
Which set should I use ? Is the RM8 set up better suited to my room size, or will I be ok with the Tsi gear ?

That is not a small room dude. For the length it could be a tad wider but, seriously...too small for all that? You have all of that in a 10X14 room? Awesome! What are you using for power?Things are more like they are now than they ever will be! -

Plenty of room, as noted above. My set-up is about your room size, actually 11.5 x 25, but I only use 11.5 x 16.5 for HT. There is a table for 4 area behind the couch in the remaining 8.5 x 11.5 space from which the TV is still viewable. I have a couple of M-70s, CS2 and M-30s and a 300W 12" sub in there, along with a full size sofa, two recliners and a coffee table and some bookshelves!
Others have even less space.

Room size is fine.

My HT room is 11x12. I have a 57" RPTV, 4 LSi15s, a PSB Synchrony One center, a PSW1000 sub, an equipment rack on the left for the gear, 2 bookcases on the right for DVDs, a coffee table, an end table, and a recliner.
The only problem with the small room was reflections, but after installing some Auralex foam that problem is resolved.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
Sony XA-5400ES SACD; Pass XP-22 pre; X600.5 amps
Magico S5 MKII Mcast Rose speakers; SPOD spikes

Shunyata Sigma XLR analog ICs, Sigma speaker cables
Shunyata Sigma HC (2), Sigma Analog, Sigma Digital, Z Anaconda (3) power cables

you'll be just fine with that for the TSI line no problem.
