I have a chance to pick these up for 30.00 . One driver doesn't work are parts easy to find? Sent a email to polk and they said no longer available from them.I have never heard them myself are they worth looking into? Hard to beat the price on a set of towers that sold for 499.95 each. When your not sure ASK! Thanks Dan

For $30 you should grab them, parts are hard to come by but for that amount of money I would jump on them. You could part them out and still be ahead.

Thanks for the reply .I thought I might be able to find a driver here or ebay. If I can fix them I might give them to a friend. I can learn on these without **** up my speakers. This is starting to be fun.If I cant fix them I will part them out. Seems to be a easy fix. I started reading here a few months ago and I'm learning from all of you. Thanks

You can find parts, I was on Craigslist this weekend and saw two different ads for RT16's being sold for parts. I wish I could remember where in the country they were, I will keep my eyes open.

Just picked these up after a bunch of phone tag. 25.00 out the door! Now comes the problem finding that driver. Please correct me if I'm wrong part # mw 8103 driver . Ive been reading old posts they said I might be able to re-glue the spider?Any suggestions? I did a google search one of the posts said they may have the drivers at madisound. I will start my search there. Any Input would be appreciated Thanks Dan

I picked these up Sunday. Monday I had some time to hook them up to an old technics two channel receiver that had been retired. These sound pretty good,I have played them for two days now and no drivers are blown .I started them out soft and slow. Al green first then bumped up volume and put in Rolling stones no bad signs yet, I then put in acdc back in black I figured that was going show some weakness somewhere they didn't even blink! My question is why did the seller think there was a blown driver? Could the ride home somehow have bumped something back into place?

I love that speaker. One of my favorite Polks. Just keep them and piss your friend off. He'll get over it.
