Thinking about getting a new system

I have not upgraded any of my electronics for the last 5-6 years or so, other than adding a Sony Bluray player, and am ready to make a change. Like most of us money is a consideraton but I can put 3-4 thousand into the processor/amp/disc player that I choose.
Here is what I am currently using:
Denon 3805, Denon 2900, Yamaha CD-X1 disc changer, and airport express for streaming iTunes. I also have a Yamaha DSP-A1 in storage.
I have 2 different speaker setups in my listening room and do not plan on upgrading speakers at this time. The speakers I use most often are Boston Acoustic VR-M60's. I have 5 of them and like them alot. I also have SDA-1C's, Monitor 10B's, and 5jr+ that I use occasionally in HT mode or the 1C's for music alone. I also have a SVS 2039-PC pulling sub duty.
I am leaning towards getting an Oppo 93 universal player for disc playback but am undecided on the rest of the system. Have strongly considerd the Marantz AV7005 with either the matching 5 channel amp or ordering through Outlaw and getting either the 7125 7 channel amp or 7500 5 channel. I am also considering the Denon 3811ci or Yamaha RX-A3000 receivers and adding an amp if I find it is needed.
Music quality is much more important to me than HT but I want a system that does both well.
Anyone have experience or feedback on what I am considering?

What exactly are you looking for? Just a new receiver? Or an amp to power the speakers as well? If you have the money, Ive read more then a few good reviews of Emotiva's amps. There a little on the expensive side, but if you really want some power running to speakers, then you shouldn't go without.
I myself like pioneer receivers, but a lot of people swear by onkyo, either way its personal choice. Just make sure they have pre outs and all the little things that you want it to do. Wanna be able to keep it for a decent amount of time before upgrading.Home Theater Setup- Receiver - Onkyo TX-RZ1100

- External Amps - Outlaw 2200 Monoblocks for L/R/C

What I'm looking for is a new processor/amp or receiver. Trying to decide where the better sound quality and value lies and what if any experience with these pieces that Club Polk members might have. -
No experience with that, but I know that anyone will say if you have a chance to sample them somewhere go for it. I was lucky enough to with my speakers, but not my receiver. I dont really know of any brick and morter places that even have amps as regularly stocked items. If you know of any Im interested too haHome Theater Setup
