I just watched this movie on Starz. I don't know if the subliminal social commentary was intentional, or maybe I just happen to see it.
They may have only attempted to make a sci-fi thriller, but, it seemed like they were saying more.

Interesting flick.

The ending had me laughing out loud.

    It's worth a rental, but I wouldn't buy it.

I wouldn't rent it. We're getting one of those free pay channel deals for the weekend on Directv, so I'd wait for tv.
    Ofcourse, YMMV?
The movie wasn't really entertaining, just interesting. I'm not a really big fan of this type of sub-genre of sci-fi, with the exception of 'I, Robot'.
The gist of the movie, set in the future(duh), shows how humans have become COMPLETELY disconnected from each other, through technology. Sort of like all the commentary in recent years about internet **** breaking up marriages, texting and emails replacing simple phone calls, etc.

Or atleast, that's what I saw in the movie?

Wasn't a bad movie at all. I watched it some time ago. But yeah there was definitely a message in there.

THe concept is the movie is certainly interesting, and I went in thinking I'd like it alot. However, the implementation of the concept and the movie itself were just ok, not even what I'd consider good.

I went to see it in the theater and wish I'd waited to rent it.

I can think of a whole lotta bad my surrogate can get into while I'm strapped in that chair  Dish Network customers are getting STARZ free for a year, it's a decent flick, I'd watch it more than once. I've always liked Bruce, especially with that blonde wig, he's kinda fetching
