Payment sent. Looking forward to trying these IC's as they should be a step up from what I'm currently using.

You are in for a treat. Using them between your favorite source and preamp.
Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)
Preamp: Joule Electra LA-150 MKII SE
Amp: Wright WPA 50-50 EAT KT88s
    Analog: Marantz TT-15S1 MBS Glider SL| Wright WPP100C Amperex BB 6er5 and 7316 & WPM-100 SUT
    Digital: Mac mini 2.3GHz dual-core i5 8g RAM 1.5 TB HDD Music Server Amarra (memory play) - USB - W4S DAC 2
Cables: Mits S3 IC and Spk cables| PS Audio PCs

So you would recommend using between source and preamp? I wasn't certain if I should do as you recommend or run them between my amps and preamp. I'm using a Denon 3910 as source, Bel Canto Pre1 as Preamp, driven by Adcom GFA 565 mono blocs.

I started my journey with the Shotgun S3.3's connected to my source and preamp. After burning them in, I decided to purchase another set to connect from my preamp to my mono blocks.

Play with the setup (one pair) and use them according to your ears.

You are really in for a treat.

    Congrats and enjoy.

I plan to do exactly as you say. I know these cables are spoken highly of in this forum - so I'm pretty confident they won't be the last set of MIT ICs I purchase. Most likely will lead to a set of MIT speaker cables also. I've been using Signal and lower end Audioquest ICs and speaker cables to date. Really looking forward to hearing what the MITs do for my system.
