The program is on the computer because I can open old "Word" docs but the icon for the actual program is no where to be found. It's not in the main menu, not in the Microsoft Office tools nor is it on the desktop. I cannot find it anywhere. Any idea on how to get it back?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12
Then find the WinWord.exe and right click on it. send to desktop(create shortcut) and you are done. From there you can drag it into your programs directory, or place it where ever you want.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.

just search for microsoft word - should pop right up, right click and copy to desktop- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

What I did do was open an old file, clear out it's contents and save it as "Microsoft Word" and moved that shortcut onto the desktop. It works, for now anyway.If...

You have to go into a few more folders than just program files. I posted the full path above. Also it may be word.exe depending on version.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Was it labeled word.exe or winword.exe?
