I'm not sure if this goes against the rules, but I thought I'd pass along a deal to fellow Polkies. I'm not affiliated with this site nor do I have anything to gain, I just saw the ad and knew somebody would be interested. They're selling them new w/free shipping for $180. Not a bad deal.

I have had both the 3500 and the 3600. IMO they are good for surge protection. They do not do any power conditioning other than RF filtering. They make a good power center.

Now if you want a good power conditioner, check out www.vanns.com and look at the APC S15 in silver for $299 shipped. If you want the black it will cost you a lot more. I think $799.

I have both the Monster 3600 and the APC S15...... both nice units. I like the Monster, because it has the capability for automatic power up when a connected component is powered up. The APC is a great unit, also.

I have the 3600 and kept it over a 5xxx that I picked up because it seemed to be nearly the same unit. I got mine off of craigslist in AMAZING condition for $50 a few months ago.

So one of these would / should handle an entire rig ? I am very tempted.

Makes me wonder if Monster is planning a new release and blowing out inventory? Seems like a great buy.

Seems like a good deal. The APC S15 actually seems like a much better deal at Vanns, especially with no tax or shipping.

It handles most of my Theater. IF you have a reciever or one multichannel amp (reducing the number of plugs from my train wreck of a set up) you're in like flynn.

I hate Monster personally, but these are a good deal. I bought mine used for around the same price i believe.
