Im getting ready to install my new ATL-1000cu and thought Id share a pic of it.
Really good construction and the free brushed aluminum power plate looks real nice.:biggrin:

    You can get it at cryo parts for $103.50 and shipping is $5.00.
    So for 108.50 you get the ATL and the power plate is free for a limited time.
    Not a bad deal since the plate is listed at $45.00
    And lee cryos them both.

    It's cool that they label it with the ground plug up. Now I feel vindicated in having installed even my cheap Leviton outlets in that orientation. :smile:

    It looks like Im going to have to hire an electrician to hook this up.I tried 3 different outlets and every single one wont pull out more than a 1/2 inch.I cant understand how the hell these things were installed except that thay may have installed the outlets first and then the drywall.
    So now im considering just getting a dedicated 20 amp circuit run out from the breaker box and into my apt.The box is right outside my door so I wont need a very long run and Ive seen some of this type of installation before.A long metal tube is run down the wall and connected into the outlet that is usually built into a box.
    So now if I may ask....What sort of high quality wire /cable should I get? I imagine I need to get some in wall certified stuff.Right?

    If you have the option, add a 20a circuit for your outlet. Since you mentioned you're in an apt, run it by the complex first. My complex was totally cool when I wanted to redo switches and add some outlets. Just make sure you hire a certified electrician and have any changes documented.

    And yes, outlets are installed way before drywall gets put up.
