Local DFW pickup, tired of the clutter, reclaiming my garage.

Boston VR-20 Lynnfield Tower Loudspeakers in good condition. Signs of use, a light mark here and there. Grills included, but missing a few tabs - but stay on correctly. ONE tweeter has a small dimple about 1cm, might be able to be sucked out, doesn't seem to affect sound quality. Sold in full working order, hifi on the cheap for the bedroom or second system. $50

A-Nuetronics, a company that made oem loudspeakers, specializing in only power strips now. These aren't white van specials, nor will they win any awards either. They are wood boxes with a black oak vinyl wrap, with decent, entry level components. You are buying a set of 4 satellite speakers and 1 center channel speaker, each with a 1/2 inch mylar dome tweeter and 4 inch shielded poly woofer with rubber surround. Rated 8 ohm, 88db, with 80 watt power handling. Grilles for all speakers included (some removed for photo).

New in the box, surround sound on the cheap for the kids room, or a second system. Buy them for your mom and let her get her movies on. Take them out and set fire to them. Throw them at your friends. Give them away as door prizes at your next dinner party. They sound ok, better than the plastic junk you get in an 'all in one' setup. Compare sound and build quality to anything entry level Pioneer, Jensen, Advent, etc. Add a cheap subwoofer, and you're done. TWO sets available, $30/set.

I'm considering a garage sale on sat to unload a lot of misc audio in varing states of working, sort of working, complete, dead tweeters - good woofers, console radios, misc drivers, tape decks, receivers etc - if anyone local would like to come BUY tomorrow evening, shoot me a pm, a lot of $1 - $5 stuff for the Polkies. DIRT cheap. The more you buy, the more you save. Someone who brings a truck to take it ALL will get a LOT for FREE.

They are 4 inch woofers, and I've got probably a dozen 'spares', some in cabs with no tweeters, some raw in a box, I even have extra grills. I've got nothing in them $ wise, so 'no reasonable or unreasonable' offer refused.

No power amps, unless it's a tube mono inside a console. No Polk stuff, the only Polk I own is in use. I do have something REALLY cool for the local LSi9 owner, that shows up with a $20 bill and has a 4ft x 4ft section of wall to hang something.....

I've got at least 1, maybe two Lexicon CP-1? I'd have to go look. They are prologic (processors only, you need an amp), and you would need to order a remote ($50), but they were the bees knees back in the day, high dollar stuff. A $5 bill takes one. I also have an Audiosource unit that you use in conjuction with a stereo receiver, it has three 15 or 30 watt (i think) amplifiers built in to process (prologic) center and rears. You put it in the tape loop like you would an EQ. That's a $5 bill also.

It's for an LSi9 owner. No one wants the Bostons? $40? The el cheapos are all gone.

Oh hell, I'll take the Bostons. Can I pick them up in a week or two? I'll PP you the cash, or give it to you then, whichever you prefer.

What else do you have that you just have to get rid of?

Dave, I'll throw them in the corner and put a towel over them. I've got some old tube misc, tuners, consoles, a handful of turntables, and what nots in varying states as mentioned. Like I have a GREAT pair of Leak Sandwich cabinets and woofers, but they aren't worth much, but I can't bring myself to just chuck 'em at the transfer station - just as an example. I could really use a DIY guy local, that's looking for things to mess with, cabinets, drivers, etc. I've got RT20p cabs, I've got Mission cabs, I've got OEM cabs, cabs cabs cabs. I could have a hell of a bonfire I guess.

Skip, good thing he has some extra cabs. Hopefully my amps will be done soon and you can hear what the 60's can do.

You found your DIY guy. We'll take it to e-mail and figure out when I can get over there to take a look at your goodies.

You should hear my Polkensteins - I had a set of AB-800s that I upgraded the cross-overs and fit into a set of empty LS-50 cabinets. They really work pretty well given that they have MW-6502 drivers and SL-2000 tweeters. Putting in Quadzilla's RDO-194s when he gives his (my old) CRS+'s the 4.1TL upgrade. I call them LS-800's.

Russ, you still have a Lexicon left?

If so, I'll have to see if I'm still alive in the morning. Pulling a work all nighter again.

I don't know actually. I'll have to dig in the garage tomorrow afternoon, I'm too hammered to do it right now, I might end face down in the pond with catfish chewing on my head.

Please don't go sleep with the fishes. Don't put too much effert into
The way things are going, I might be working well into the morning.
The remote guys didn't prep very well, and it's not going well at all.
No rest for the wicked, I guess.
