I have a pair of lsi 25s and a denon2807 7.1 receiver. I am not getting the sound out of these speakers I believe they can produce. I tried biwiring and preouting a 150 watt oddesey soild state amp. No real change. I tried the internal eq in the denon receiver to no avail. Question? can a external eq be used without a tape loop and what other set can anyone suggest?

I wouldn't use an EQ. What is it about the sound that is lacking? Is it all formats? What are you using for a source?

Well I use to own a pair of sda monitors which I am mentally using as a comparison, also I have a pair of bose 901 in the bedroom powered by a vintage altec amp and I like the highs and mids much more than the lsi are doing. I source them with a ps3 and a technics turntable also through music on my lab top.

No problem. Just edit it. Doesn't take too long to get the post count you need to sell here. Just participate. You may want to keep your Denon as a pre. Try your Bose on the LSI setup to eliminate the possibility of the gear.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com.
