Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

+1 to that! I ran a pair of TAD-60's a few years back on my MK II ESL's. Nice amp for the money. Wonderful midrange.

Thanks for the props guys,it was my intro into tube amps. and I'll never look back...there is nothing quite like tube power:biggrin:

Being able to roll EL-34s and KT-88s without any internal adustments is pretty cool for a piece of gear in this price range....Triode/UL mode,no problem, flip a switch

FYI - I have a TAD item (See my signature) and have been very pleased by it. I spoke many times via e-mail to the builder of the preamp - and owner of the company and he was very open to questions, etc. etc. I've never heard this particular amp, but if I was in the market, I'd give it a very hard look. Good luck with the sale.
