The TAD-60 measures 50 W/Ch RMS Clean,60 W RMS Stretched...It can be bias configured to operate in a Class A Single Ended Mode that automatically converts to Regular Class A/B Mode for full power when turned up...The 60 can except EL-34,6CA7,KT-88 or 6550 output tubes,I will include a 5-pak of EH-6CA7s that were hand picked by the designer/builder himself...plus I'll throw in a quad of Mullard EL-34s...Also accepts 12AU7 and 12AX7s,there are 100's of these to choose from...Has a single input and can be used as a Integrated Amp. with Volume and Variable Feedback controls...The Volume control also tunes your preamp gain to the amp...Triode/UL Mode switches,MIT style Binding Posts with 4&8 ohm. taps...the 60's were point to point hand wired, and also sports Copper windings...All Stainless Steel constuction with a Black 5mm faceplate, also includes a Stainless tube cage, and a Cen-Tech Digital Multimeter with instructions for easy biasing...The amp. will be shipped in the original factory double-box,plus a third outer carton to insure safe transit, the total ship weight will be around 55 lbs. The amp is very heavy and extremely well built...Rated a 7/10 simply because of a few imperfections, nothing major that jumps out at you,I can send some hi-res pics upon request to serious buyers...I'm moving into a fully integrated tube amp. is the only reason for sale...the 60 performs flawlessly with no issues at all...paypal users, please include 4% to cover fees...This is a very good way to get into tube amplification at an entry level cost...Go here http://www.angelfire.com/biz/bizzyb/TAD-60.html for all the details.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Great tube amp!
+1 to that! I ran a pair of TAD-60's a few years back on my MK II ESL's. Nice amp for the money. Wonderful midrange.

Thanks for the props guys,it was my intro into tube amps. and I'll never look back...there is nothing quite like tube power:biggrin:
Being able to roll EL-34s and KT-88s without any internal adustments is pretty cool for a piece of gear in this price range....Triode/UL mode,no problem, flip a switch -
FYI - I have a TAD item (See my signature) and have been very pleased by it. I spoke many times via e-mail to the builder of the preamp - and owner of the company and he was very open to questions, etc. etc. I've never heard this particular amp, but if I was in the market, I'd give it a very hard look. Good luck with the sale.
