Ken or Micah,

Is it possible to obtain speaker packaging and a manual from polk? I bought an "open box" (which of course means no box, or manual for that manner) CS 1000 from the goodguys.
When packing up your system to head farther down the road, there's no proctection like original packaging.

    Hello,
Thanks for contributing to the Forum, I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy the CS1000p, its an excellent center channel. If you'll contact me at either kswauger@polkaudio.com or via telephone at 1-800-377-7655 extension 891 I'm sure I can help.
    Best regards, Ken Swauger

you might be out of luck with good guys but if you called the REAL good guys at Polk I would bet money that they would do anything possible to hook you up.

I bought my center channel in store and was told the full warranty is in force. I also got the extended coverage. I'll have to check the website,
to see what they're saying there.

    Troy-

You speak the truth. Polk is one of those few
companies who understand the term customer service. And they regularily take it to a whole new level.
It's one of the many reasons their customers are so loyal.

    Hello,
Thanks for everyone's supporting comments. Buying a Polk product, open box, from a dealer doesn't change the warranty. There might be cosmetic considerations; a dinged corner or scratched cabinet that wouldn't be covered under warranty (examine the speaker carefully). But tweeters, drivers, woofers, crossovers and amplifier warranties are intact. Missing owner's manuals, feet, grilles, etc we send at no charge.
    Regards, Ken Swauger
