MIT In-Wall Terminators

Has anyone used or seen the MIT In-Wall Terminators? They come in AVT, Shotgun, and Magnum flavors, and are designed to be the network boxes for custom installs and such with MIT wire. Then, from the wall to the speaker, you just use one of the Output Tails, and you supposedly have a true MIT system!

Now, being the creative genius/idiot I am, what if you installed the In-Wall Terminator as a binding post plate? Wouldn't that give you the technology of MIT cables in your speakers? Then just run the Output Tails between the amp and the speakers, and you would be wired with completely custom "MIT Equipped" speakers.

Seems to me you would be correct. The wall box has the same componants in it the cable box does, right?

Yes. Supposedly the box has the exact same components, but because the wire is integrated into the box on the regular MIT cable, the Output Tails aren't quiet as good as the regular cables for the given line.

I've also been told the network box is directional, but that seems to be as easy as flipping around the box on the wall plate.

I also just found the AVT speaker module which could be easily fitted inside a speaker before the crossover. At $100 each, it seems like an easy way to test the idea of MIT technology inside a speaker. Hmm...
