How is the league run? Is it through Yahoo, or some other site? I've never done fantasy baseball before. How time-consuming is it? Daily decisions, or weekly tweaking of lineups? Oh, and how many are already in your league?

It will be though ESPN. You will be able to adjust your lineup daily. I normal at least check my team every day or two just to see if any of my guys are injured or if I want to pick up a new stating pitcher that is pitching that day.If life had more tubes it would be a lot smoother.

I wish I could still maintain interest through an entire MLB season. Baseball was my first fantasy love, a fantasy love lost no less...
I just can't maintain a team for 162 games, though I do have solid draft advice for those that don't want to deal with a billion starting pitchers all season.
I had great success out of drafting 2 top tier starters, and then the rest of my pitching staff was closers. Not just relief pitchers, but the guys that are going to throw 1-1.5 innings at most per game and get the saves.
That enabled me to start the same 2 starters all season, with the majority of my pitching stats coming from the closers. So I gave up things like innings pitched, wins, etc, but destroyed categories such as saves, WHIP, ERA, etc.
So in the end, I had a solid pitching staff with little to no maintenance required.
Good luck you baseball fiends. And go Yanks.2007 Club Polk Football Pool Champ

Ok, what is a keeper league? I don't think I'm actually going to join, but I am curious. Good to see another O's fan here. At least I know I'm not the only one!

Keeper leagues are a continuation league that lasts more than one year. At the end of the first year, it's decided that you 'keep' certain players on your team and redraft the rest. The number of players varies - I've been in leagues that keep 4 players, and one that keeps 9. It makes it more lifelike, and makes mid season trades more intersting.
