Monitor 70 internals
For bi-amping and also subwoofer accentuation reasons I am trying to understand the insides of the Monitor 70 and TSi400/500.
From what I read, the Monitor 70s use a cascading array. So the top speaker gets all frequencies under the tweeter, then the bottom 3 (or 2?) get some lower frequencies. I cant see any info on the Polk site about the configuration of these filters. Does anyone know?
Also, the newer TSi line does not mention the cascading array at all, and it only shows a single 2400Hz crossover point. Has Polk removed it?
Thanks!
Moreover, I am interested in when bi-amping the Monitor 70s, which connections go with which speakers. Is the tweeter solo powered?
