I went to the doctor today, got my ears cleaned, wow. Now,I hear music the way I suppose to hear it.my vintage speakers are singing like a bird. I had to turn the treble down on my speakers. they have treble,mid-bass,and mid-range controls on the back, also a rear firing tweeter on the back. jam on.

I had this done a while back and the Doctor asked me if I could hear much better now. The answer, paradoxically, was NO! It made, in my case, almost no difference whatsoever? Go figure! I guess I must have the "super power" of being able to hear through WAX! lol

I will be making regular trips to my doctor,to get them clean. I wasted all this time on burning in my MIT cables.shoot, an ear cleaning is all I needed... :) hahaha. Seriously, it helped a whole lot, though.

i simply dont have the ears you guys do. the subtle changes brought on by some of these mods, or hell even sometimes speaker vs speaker, i simply cannot tell a difference. between a damaged ear drum in my left ear, and a constant ringing in my right, i have a much harder time deciphering what changes were made. i clean my ears twice a day with q-tips, and never really get bad wax build up, then again im not getting all the way down into the ear canal. ehh, o well.

Is this really something your doctor has to do? Can't you just do it at home, as talked about in the above-mentioned thread? Paying for this service seems ridiculous.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

i tried cleaning my ears at home.. several times.. and it's hit or miss.. and it didnt' approach how good of a job my doctor did.. the few times I had mine cleaned out.

seriously, you'll notice a difference right away.. everything was clearer. voices.. and really any sound was crystal clear and I wish it would have lasted.

I have hearing loss in my left ear.. but I think it's mostly from wax build up, more so that anything else.

I have tried those over the counter ear cleaning solutions... and with little success.

I think it's the full moon that just pasted. That's why short, to the point remarks are breaking loose around here....

Off to put my new tweeter capacitors on my original Polk 9A's.
    Yes, I expect a burn in time..
