Not sure who here is a Bruce Lee fan; Im only 28 so I wasn't able to experience Mr Lee in the living, but this interview is great.

Totally candid, 25 minutes long, and WAY informative. If your used to seeing him portrayed as nothing but fighting, its a great break from that

Bruce Lee - The "Lost" Interview (The Pierre Berton Show - 9 December 1971)

Wasn't Lee on the Green Lantern, or was it Hornet?

He was Kato on the Green Hornet.
I watched the show for the first time when it snowed two weeks ago... it was pretty interesting.

Very interesting. I have always been more fascinated by Bruce Lee, the thinker, rather the martial artist. No wonder he was much hated by the Chinese martial arts community.

Growing up in Hong Kong during the early to mid 70s, I know of Bruce Lee because my parents would talk about his father, a Cantonese Opera star, and Bruce's career as a child actor. Below link is to Bruce Lee's most famous role as a child actor, in the drama "An Orphan's Tragedy"....

I noticed the interview was produced by TVB-HK. TVB-HK was the training grounds for actors like Chow Yun-fat (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon), Stephen Chow (Kung-Fu Hustle) and Andy Lau (House of Flying Daggers). TVB-HK is owned by Sir Run Run Shaw (of the Shaw Bros. Studios fame)....he co-produced "Blade Runner" and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies. In fact, you are very likely to find TVB-HK on your cable TV system.

I've seen Enter the Dragon and Return of the Dragon, have not seen his first two films.

I've also not seen Game of Death, but not sure how much of that is even him.

On the martial art side, Dana White of UFC commented that Lee was one of the first mixed martial artists. He combined different martial art disciplines into his system, Jeet Kun Do. Lee was ahead of his time.

That's exactly what i thought after watching the interview. I have seen all of his movies multiple times, but i've never seen this side of him. I will say this ... it's a damn shame that he died so young. i think he had a lot to offer the world.

Anyone interested in Bruce Lee should watch the History Channel documentary "How Bruce Lee Changed the World" (click on the Video Clip tap for preview) from a couple of years back.

The movie "Dragon The Bruce Lee Story" with Jason Scott Lee is one of my favorite movies about him. Jason really looks like him and looks built like him just a really great movie even Bruce Lee's wife was amazed at how he fit the part in every way.
Bruce Lee was an amazing artist when I was instructed by one of Mas Oyama's students, now Master, Bob Fabrey the 2 were always respected and compaired.
For Bruce Lee's movie's I would say probably "Enter the Dragon" would be at the top for me.
