Hi guys, I think it's time for me to look for a change in my pre-amp situation. Now I run Aan ADCOM GFA555 w/ anOnkyoP-301 pre. Now there's no problem w/ the pre and as amatter of fact it's quite when using any pots or controls and truth be told I got it at a garage sale for 40$. I just think it' time for a change and maybe go for the Adcom 400-500 gtps or Nad or similar pre. Any input would be greatly appreciated. The next problem I have is were to go for such gear. I do not like the auction process I always get my heart broken. where I live are 2 Goodwill stores that seem to be worthless ,all they carry are vhs, cable boxes and ripped up old rack systems. There is a place called Barracks Tradeing and it's like an electronic pawn shop and on occassion
maybe you can find some thing. I found my Infinity SM112S ON C/L but now people seem to know what they have and are not as deperate as my dude was.
So in central JERSEY are there any stores of any kind that I could peruse around and make a deal. Also looking for a pair of Klipsch FotesII when cash flow permits...Thanks and think where i could go thats' got some bargins.
