I just received this spam from "Joe Abrams". I seriously doubt he is selling Viagra now along with MIT cables. After all, good sound works better than Viagra any day.
My guess is he has been infected with the virus that uses your contact list to send out spam.
I sent him an email to let him know what is occuring.

Yeah, I got the spam from Joe and Shack. The junk filter caught both of them.Carl

Or someone is spoofing the headers. Forward an email to me as an attachment and I'll be able to tell. I get bounce notices all the time for my address, but my mail server has yet to be hacked. And when I look at the headers, the originating IP is always somewhere else. Lots of spam bots pick random email addresses to put in the "from" field, which is what I'm guessing your basing this off of.Turntable: Empire 208

And I thought we only got off to sound around these parts.

No, I dig network, system, and physical security as well. Been doing it a long time, too.Turntable: Empire 208
