Uverse peeps, IR blaster?

I am wanting to hide all my components in our entertainment center and I have heard that certain units will not work with the Uverse DVR box. I already have a logitech IR blaster system that I got a few months ago and just haven't taken the time to get it all setup. Has anyone used this to control their Uverse box? I think the official name of the product is the Logitech Harmony IR Extender. I will be trying it out later today but just thought I would check if anyone has run across something else that works.
