Mine, Led Zeppelin,
Not an Audiophile, just a dude who loves music, and decent gear to hear it with.

Nickelback of course!
But really I can't say. I have too many favorites.--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out. -
If you're going to limit it strictly to hard rock and to one band, then I'd say Tool is my favorite. I have bands that I like more (Dream Theater, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, the list goes on), but none are really hard rock so to speak.
I don't know who else would count as hard rock, but most of the progressive groups I can think of don't really fall into that category. Of the groups that I can think of (Metallica, Nickleback, Audioslave, Chevelle, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, etc), Tool is my favorite. -

simply because i have yet to hear a single song from tool i did not enjoy. i love led zeppelin, and i will say they are my all-time favorite band, but for plain ole omfg 118db of pure rock out with my c*ck out to every single album its TOOL. i could listen to every album every day and never get tired of their music. and their cover of "No Quarter" gives me goose bumps at times. Maynard may be a bit on the weird side, but him and Danny Carey are two amazing musicians, along with the rest of the band... even if Maynard forgets the lyrics sometimes lololol
