I didn't know my post about burn in,break in,be it tweeter or MIT Cables, would lead to what it did.but,I have to be honest, it was fun reading all the comments about it.Now, you all have left this young Audiofile a little more confused.I want each of you to help me pay my power bill for letting my stereo play for over 200hrs Non stop, thank you. No,seriously,I don't ever turn my stereo off anyway,I leave it on. Actually, this pass two weeks burn it,break in,was fun.I got re-acquainted<spell check, with my music again.

LET'S ENJOY THE MUSIC,AND the MIT CABLES... Smile!

I believe in speaker burn in,, and useing loudness control, when needed, OPPPS, should not have added that last part,,,, Audio gods could be lurking,,,
Not an Audiophile, just a dude who loves music, and decent gear to hear it with.

Tone controls do help compensate for weakness elsewhere in your system, but have nothing whatsoever to do with the original intent of a recording. I despise them, and do not use them for any reason.

I kinda dig the feature to kick the bass up when listening at low volumes that many receivers have. It's the one thing (besides an FM tuner) that I miss when I swap out my receiver for separates.
