Do I need a cap?

would i need a cap for a 150x2 amp that is 450x1 bridged? the amp is a profile CA600.
Panasonic VIERA 46" 1080p plasma
Onkyo TX-SR805
Klipsch RF-7(bi-amped)
Klipsch RF-25
Xbox 360 with HD DVD
Playstation 3
Cobalt Cable

    I would STRONGLY reccomend the Cap. i had a Profile A400XL bridged. Did not get any volume until I put a Cap on it. I would reccomend at least 1/2 Farad. Personally I would use a 1 myself.

    well what are you running it at?
    150x2 or 450?
    if its 150x2 then you dont really need it, but it wouldnt hurt
    its its 450 then i would suggest a .5 farad cap, the rule for caps is 1 farad per 1000watts

    i've got a half - a - farad on my grandfather's 425-ish watt amp... keeps the v-needle steady at idle... once the truck is up to like 1k rpms though its not doing much of anything.

    but truth be told, you're prolly fine without it -- i'd still do 1/2 farad anyway though.

    if you intend to add another amp in the future - just get a 1 farad now so you dont go and say "shizzle doggy fizzle why'd i buy only a half farad one?"
