To move along with the speed of of the bullet of the digital imaging world and audio/video. I decided to get me a new toy. It's the Toshiba P25 notebook computer. Have you ever seen one of this monster? Well it's big, yes big, not huge, but big, screen size is 17", widecreen, so 16 x9 movie will fit the screen perfectly, DVD/CD combine and recordable, speed is pentium 4 2.8mhz, 60HD and up to 2 gig of RAM, super graphic card with 64 meg of memory to handle video games. HK speakers, IEE 1394 input. Hell, after the initial set up, the DVD movies look better in here than my HDTV. 100% interface with my digicam SLR, have to carry it with me from now on..andleave my Pioneer portable DVD player at home. Who said the big "apple" is the best? Sorry Mr Ming...

Where'd ya buy it from? Pretty good price?
I have a Toshiba Satellite that I've had for almost 2 years, and I really like their stuff.......Congrats..comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
BB has it for $2,099 (Toshiba P-25 S507)but you will get $250 rebate ($150 from BB and $100 from Toshiba, you can also get 3 EA games for $19. The S607 is top of the line, but overall, the S507 is the best buy (better price too). I love the look of the new 17 inches widescreen, it's unbelievable.
I'm kinda lucky enough to get it at lower discount employee price since I knew someone works there.

Well wish me luck with this one. I have not had a Sony laptop before and it seemed ok in the store. So far it is just fine. Battery life could be longer but that is about it. I did not and do not have the expectations of the Powerbook for this one.
