Hi, i'm new to this board and i just wanted to get my first post in.
I just replaced almost my entire HTIB system with some polk speakers and so far i'm really enjoying my purchases. For the mains i have the RTi150, center CSi40, and the surrounds FXi50. I'm still using my onkyo sub that came with the system which isn't too bad, but i'm looking forward to upgrading that. For my receiver, it's pretty much the ONK TXSR500. I'll hopefully be upgrading that soon as well. I was looking at the HK and the ONK receivers in the $1000 price range.

Please share your thoughts and any ideas or recommendations that you may have

Hey nice speaker set up.. i bet those 150's rock. I'm sure more people will chime in shortly.

Only recommendation I would suggest.. is that you get a Radio Shack sound level meter to properly set up the level of each speaker. I and many others have tried to set them up just by your ears.. well your ears can deceive you. so spend the $30 and get a nice sound pressure level meter.

Oh yeah.. you didn't mention if you have a DVD player or not. I assume with your set up. you prob do. :D

right i forgot to mention i also recently purchased the Panasonic DVDF85S. I use this obviously for DVD movies, and also DVD Audio

in regards to what you suggested, i'll definitely buy it for only $30. But what do i do with it exactly to ensure great quality sound?
