Sitting here listening to her beautiful voice, and I know she won a Grammy but really big deal, a Grammy don't define an artist. anyway I'm sitting here and thinking the only time I get to listen to her beautiful voice is when I put on her CD or Vinyl, so is she underated?? Or is it because she isn't your everyday pop star??

Don't get me wrong I know she is well known but I'm sure you understand what I mean.

A mix of Blues,Rock,Jazz, with a touch of Motown. I Love It!!!

I don't know what to tell you, Larry. I find her to be among the best female vocalists I've heard in recent years. Always liked her. In fact the first time I ever heard of her was at the end of the first Fantastic Four film where she closes out with Whatever Happened to the Heroes. As soon as I heard that, I knew I had to google me some Stone? The rest is history. I'm a fan. Don't really know what the music scene thinks of her?

Great voice, can't get into her music though.

Yeah the first time I saw her sing on TV with Leann Rimes I had to goggle her as well. been a fan since, but I find it a shame she gets no radio play.

BTW Leann Rimes needs to spread her wings from country music now and then cause that was the best I ever heard her sing. she has one hell of a voice as well. It was like Joss Stone brought the best out of her..

I picked up her cd The Soul Sessions a few months back and it immediately became one of my favorite cds. I love her sound. I've seen mp3 downloads for some of her other stuff on amazon but no cd's to order and can't find anything local. Anyone have anything extra by her they would sell?

Don't you know nobody worth listening to ever gets any commerical air time?

On a local college station (91.5 FM; WRPI Troy), they play just about anything. One of their DJ's actually brings in piles of vinyl and spins it. "Don't call and ask what we're playing--I myself don't know what it is."

I don't have any Joss Stone CD but I've heard/seen her perform. To say she's underrated is an understatement. She's a major talent and completely overlooked by the general public.

Instead of Joss Stone, we get no talent hacks like Lady Gaga and Justin Beiber....
