If it was me, I'd have the amps out in front of the stand so they get better cooling. But that's just if it was me. Plus, I'd want to see them. They's purty.

Although,my living room is too small for theses speakers,it still sound nice. The kappa 9 are in the back. my system never sound better.I think it's the New Pre-amp and the MIT cables. before those, it didn't sound the same.I guess it's only in my BIG HEAD,my mind. Love ya!

Oh yeah, there's one more addition to the family,The Oppo 95 blu-ray uni Player.for playing Audio Cd's mostly. Darn, look at all that dust..sorry about the dust on the kappa..I just unpack them and nothing else. The seller re-did the woofers, reform?something like that. The front drivers are working fine, and the rear firing tweeter also.

it's open on both sides..I'll have to get a longer cable for that, though.

Even open on both sides, it looks like you've only got a few inches above the amps. That's just not much room for a convection current. Guess another option would be the fans they make for cooling that type set up. But still... the amps on nice amp stands out front would just look so freaking cool. Again, just my opinion.
