I've been spending a good deal of time the past few days reaquainting myself with my rig and my catalog of tunes...
A few days ago, someone asked if there was any decent rock in the 90's. I submit that yes there was. Check out:
Live- Throwing Copper
The Gin Blossoms- New Miserable Experience
Counting Crows- August and Everything After
Big Head Todd and the Monsters - Sister Sweetly
Toad the Wet Sprocket - Fear
SunVolt - Trace
Dada - Puzzle
Freddy Jones Band - North Avenue Wake Up Call (HUGELY underrated band, great album, GREAT live show)
Eric Johnson - Ah Via Musicom (have to check, that might be pre-1990)

All excellent music, and great representations of good rock from the '90's IMO.
I am surprised to see Dada there, not too many people I know have heard their stuff, but its a great album and definitely worth checking out. As for the others I completely agree, great music- whether you want to call it 'rock' or not is up to you, but I sure would.

All are very good selections, but I am very fond of Live's work and Big Head Todd's Sister Sweetly.
