Will CS2 Center speaker work okay with RTi4 Bookshelves as fronts? What is the difference between RTi4 and RTiA4? Thanks

It will work but it's not ideal. You should timbre match the front three.
The Rti4 is a bookshelf. The Rti-A4 is a CENTER speaker.
The Rti-A1 is the new updated version of the Rti-4s.

It will "work", but they are not timbre-matched (different tonal qualities).
RTiA is the current line, while RTi is the predecessor, but they are considered to be timbre-matched.
The match to RTi4 speakers is the CSi3 or CSi5. The RTiA versions of these are CSiA4 and CAiA6. Any of these would be considered a "better" match for RTi4 bookshelves than the CS2, which is from Polk's Monitor line.
EDIT: ^^^ Yeah, what he said! I'm a slooowww typer sometimes... -
Having a hard time finding a CSi3 to match these.
