This bad boy was delivered to my door today! I was lucky to find it for the price I did, and being that I know the guy who owned it, and that he only used it twice, I came out great. Can't wait to get back out and tear some river up! Any Polkies wanting to ride the Yadkin or New River, let me know, I'm down any day of the week.

And for some reason it won't let my post the pic....

And wont let me link a URL, so here you go...

Oh, man! Good snag. I live right by a river and in the back of my mind, I've always thought about getting one of those. I can foresee many an hour enjoyed in your near future. Congratulations.

Looking forward to taking it out. If it REALLY is going to be almost 60 tomorrow, we may have to do a quick 2/3 hour run to test it out. I've been on three or four different canoes, but this one looks like it'll be better then anything I've been on yet, we've got a three day trip planned for Memorial Day down the New River, can't wait! All I need now is a waterproof radio, any recommendations??

Got out this morning about 10:45 for a three hour trip! This was our fist time in this boat, so we wanted to keep it easy and short. I think tomorrow we're going to to the second leg of this seven or so (total) hour journey. It was nice when we we're in the sun, a bit chilly in the shade, but that water was something else! I hope everyone got out and enjoyed their Saturday.

Find out if there's an engine mount kit made for it. An elec. trolling motor would be fun on it every once in a while !

I've seen photos of ones with a lil 3hp motor on it, would be great, but we have plans (perhaps this summer) to get about an 18ft split window inboard, we're only 5 minutes from the lake. Maybe a 'Mini-NC-Polkfest on the water edition' in our future?

Congrats. Looks like you had a beautiful day.

I was( not 1 hr. ago) just looking real close at two of those type canoes on top of a SUV. I liked how stucturally sound they looked. These I saw were blue also....COOL:wink:

First paddle of the year today, leaving in a few minutes. We've picked up a second boat, and this will be our first outing in it.

Quite a bit longer, I'm excited to see how it does. I hope everyone is having a great day as well!
