Here's a link th the new ES line coming out this fall. Seems all the new ES receivers will be using Digital Amplifiers. Someone please tell me the advantages/disadvantages of a Digital Amp. Think I know what there are but would just like clarification.

    My new SONY STR-DA3000ES should be here Wednesday 9/17. I wonder what digital amplification will sound like over analog? Time will let me know...

    Sounds like a whole new area where we can debate the relative merits of analog and digital.

    Will be interesting to see what kind of power ratings the digital lines will deliver. From the write up it would seem fairly economical to produce very high power digital amps...
