It's probably a good value for your money, but in terms of RT3000P's, there have been several pairs that have gone for less than that, one around $600 I believe.

Those subwoofers reak that of the Car Audio Polk Audio Subwoofers. Can anyone explain this? Or did they use similar Dust Caps??

Mx......piehole? shut? now? discuss amongst yourself......

Those 3000p subs will thump you like you wouldn't ever expect. When I had mine for a whopping week, the first movie I popped in (can't remember what it was) scared the **** outta me because it shook the entire front window in my apartment. You'd be hardpressed to find a better powered tower system in the polk family (regardless of their similarity to any car related sub)

as a side note.......you seem to dog on speakers because of any sort of possible connection to HT and Car speaks.....Using your logic, the LSi15 sub(using the term liberally) must be a piece of **** because.....um......well........it looks like a car one. Even if they are from the same line, but tweeked differently, what's the problem exactly? How many different ways would you like the circle redone in the speaker world?

Unless you've heard and listened to them, QUIT DOGGING STUFF!!!!!

    Ok Brett,
I was not *dogging* the speakers. I actually was asking a question. I asked "Does Polk use similar drivers from Car Audio in their home, or Dust Caps?". I was not dogging anything. Just...breathe.............
