Monitor 5 worth the drive?
First post here. There is pair of Monitor 5's advertised locally on our version of CL and I'm sitting on the fence.
The seller wants $150.00 for them and will not budge on the price. They look to be in mint shape. I'm in Ontario Canada and things like this seem to sell for a higher price here. I'm wondering if this is way out of line or not bad. I know they get favourable reviews here and elsewere but I'm wondering if that much cash could be better spent on a different model or speaker brand even (oops).
BTW our $ is about the same as the US $ at the moment so cross border comparisons are fair.
