i havent heard the alpines...but the rockfords are nothing special...this coming from a guy who owns 4 rockford amps
but i have the mm6s...and theyre very good components...and plus theyre 6 1/2s and the others are only 5 1/4s

What would be a good 100x2 amp to power the mm6's. Are U.S acoustics any good? I will buy the amp from crutchfield.Panasonic VIERA 46" 1080p plasma

theyre rated at 150...so youd be okay with 100...but itd sound better/play louder if you went with a 150-200watt amp
i have never heard us acoustics....and im very curious about their amps...ive seen them in crutchfield and theyre dirt cheap and they come with like a 3 yr warranty i think...but i dont know how good they are

Thanks. I'll go with a 150x2 amp.How about rockford amps, profile? Kicker's are expensive, are they any good?Panasonic VIERA 46" 1080p plasma

the momo comps put the rest of those to shame dude.
amps... u can do better than profile / usacoustics, etc etc... kicker is garbage and overpriced... profile is fine if u're on a tight budget, and budgets are fine, but if u can do better for the same price or just a little more do better.

From Crutchfield:
1- kenwood kac 7201 - $199

2- profile CA600 - $150

From Sounddomain:
1- Hifonics Nemesis NX600 - $225 after instant rebate
http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/HIFNX600
2- Pioneer GMX972 - $120

from that selection I'd probably go with the Kenwood, then the Hifonics, then the Pioneer, then the Profile if I had the 200 bucks to spend.
If u wanna go ultra budget then go with the pioneer because its gonna be a little better than the profile and still cheaper. The Artist formerly known as PoweredByDodge -
Without making a comparison with the MOMO comps... since I've never heard them, I just wanna point out that the Type-R comps sound really good also. If you can get them cheap, I personally wouldn't hesitate to buy 'em."The Big C"

i have a rockford amp pushing my mm6s
its an older model 500.2
i think it was rated at 125x2 but it puts out closer to 175x2 or so
good amp...havent had any problems with it...but i dont think youre going to find it cheaper than the amps dodge listed
