You will definately hear a difference with that CSiA6 Center speaker. I also have the RTi10's in my H/T system along with the CSiA6. A great combination and you will really like it....its Timber Matched with the 10's. I am also running these speakers with a Pioneer SC Receiver....so I know the sound you will get. $299 is a great price as its the lowest price I have seen in Canada. I picked mine up for $349 from Futureshop which was low....as they hardly ever went on sale here from its $499 original price.....thats until about a mth after I bought mine when it did hit $299 for 1 week. Oh well,I was happy with the $349 price, which still offered excellent Bang for the Buck.

Before I bought my vintage centers (cs1000 and later my SRT system), I was salivating over the CSI A6. It's an awesome center for home theater.

By "the egg" are you refering to New Egg? I just went and looked and it shows 449. Sale didnt last to long. You have to add it to your cart in order to see the price. It shows 449 after a 50 dollar price break.

I need to change my sig. I was just using the reciever to bi amp. The L&R termimals on the reciever went to the bottom terminals of the speakers. Then you use the Rear L&R surround terminals for the top terminals. I couldnt tell a difference so they are now no longer bi amped. Since the reciever produces more wattage with fewer channles driven bi amping with a reciever might not be the best.

I use LFE on the sub with it set to 120HZ in the reciever, and the towers set to 80 HZ. The audssey kept setting the towers to 40hz wich I am sure they are able to produce accuratly. I wouldnt get much bass from the subwoofer when listing to non 5.1 or 7.1 suround sources unless i set the towers to 80hz.

It is like there are 2 seperate crossovers or low pass filters.

Your 5.1 and up sources have a seperate sound track for the subwoofer (LFE). It has audio up to 120 hz that is specificaly for the sub. If you have the sub set to a lower setting your missing the audio because it is dedicated twards the sub and will not be rerouted to the towers.

Then when your listings to non surround sources, like the tuner or non hd tv channels, that doesn't have a dedicated sub channel bass will be directed to the sub at what ever cross over point you have the the towers set to.

I dont have a center channel yet. Just rocking the 808, 2 RTI A7's, and a DSW PRO550wi.

Question on the CSi A6. If i replaced my CS2 with CSi A6 would that be a big no for matching with my M70II. Would it make a difference? Stay with CS2 or wait for the Egg to have a sale on CSiA6..
