All GREAT that you listed. My favorite? The 2 minute Chrysler 200 commercial with Eminem. Got me close to misty.

I thought the Doritos resurrection commercial was sorta funny and liked the Audi A8 jailbreak commercial with Kenny G. The chatter.com commercial with the animated Black Eyed Peas reminded me of Pets.com and the dot com bomb. If I had stock in salesforce I'd be selling it right about now.

Exactly, it wasn't what they were selling, as much as what they said.

Honestly, that's what bugged me about it. I thought some advertising guy in New York or LA came up with a bunch of words about Detroit that are supposed to tug at my heartstrings. You think Eminem rolls in a Chrysler? I'm guessing not. Chrysler / Fiat needs to back some of that up with more than millions of advertising dollars before they have a chance at my business.

Did you miss the anti-Detroit prop sent out on the net in the past month via our 'reliable' new sources? You must have.

Lots of good stuff. For me, the two Doritos commercials pushed the envelope harder than any of the others. Weird and edgy, but humouous and memorable which is ultimately what advertisers are after.

    x2

The Vader one, and my personal favorite was where they were like "we get free product when we endorse it in our commercial!" or whatever exactly they said, and so they filmed the whole movie scene with Bud Light stuff EVERYWHERE. That one made my night

The Darth Vader kid was my favorite, but I also found the Pepsi Maxx commercials very entertaining. Especially the one where the wife nails the blonde with the can at the end. That's soooo my wife.
