Polk Audio Problems

Hey all,
I've had a problem with my Polk R1 bookshelf speaker(s) lately. I am running an R1 pair via a Denon DRA-35v stereo receiver. I've noticed lately that the right channel has been sounding very harsh....especially during programs with (excessive) mid-range, particulary pianos. Sometimes I notice it more than others, even on the same song at the same volume. I've tried the speaker on the left channel and still had problems. The driver sounds very harsh and the piano, for example, really stands out in the <right> soundstage. Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot the bass driver? I appreciate the help.

Try calling Ken at Polk Audio and he should be able to diagnose the problem for you. It sounds to me like you may need to upgrade your speakers.
