Hi everyone,

I currently have the following setup:

2 TSi100's in front
2 RCi60's in rear
1 CS10
1 PSW10 and 1 BIC Acoustech PL-200
Denon AVR-590

I am upgrading my fronts to RTi A3's next week. Big upgrade I think. But do I need to upgrade my cc pronto?

And if so, to what? Must be no more than 22" wide!!

A) CSi3 ~ $120
B) CSi A4 ~ $230
C) KEEP THE CS10!
D) Other Center (please name one if you think I should do this)

Let's keep the cost around 300 too. Or less! :)

Thanks guys!

Also, would the TCi60's be worth the 300 or 400 to replace my RCi60's? I can't imagine them making that much difference in my system. Anyone ever experienced that upgrade?

Sharp BD HP22U (Blu-ray player)

Isn't that extinct and more than 22"? I remember thinking it was similar to the CSi A6. Not positive though.

I upgraded to the CSi5 from the CSi3 and definitely enjoyed the improvement.. CSi5 is a far better speaker.. haven't heard the newer CSiA's though.. but I would recommend against the CSi3 compared to the other options..

The Polk CSiA6 would be your best choice as it has the same size drivers as the RTiA3 Bookshelf Speakers. And the Center is a Very Important speaker.

Well I would love to get the csi a6 but it is 2" wider than I can fit in my room. So csi a4 vs. csi3? Or keep the cs10?

^^^ I'd go with this over the CSi3... Then everything would be all pretty and match. In the end, though, shouldn't be much difference either way.

The biggers are better, but if they don't fit, it don't matter...

Thanks, do you think the csi a4 would sound much better than the cs10? I ask because it ISN'T an upgrade in size. It seems like a lateral move. Is it just the sound quality will increase since it is a higher quality line?

I know the timbre matching is important, I just wondered if that was the only improvement or if it was a step up all around.

Thanks dskip, I appreciate the response. If the increase will be similar, I am sold! :)

I wasn't sure how much of the increase in quality between my tsi100's and rti a3's was due to the increase in driver size, and how much was due to the series jump.
