"Bonus Content" on DVD or BD... How many of you actually watch it?

It's those other options in the Menu of your Blu-Ray Disc or DVD: Outtakes, Deleted Scenes, etc. I've seen advertisements that claim "Over 2 hours of extra content!" Is this a selling point for you? Just an added bonus?
Personally, I couldn't care less. I don't want to rewatch Mission Impossible III while Tom Cruise gives humorous anecdotal commentary through the whole thing. And I'm not even going to touch the subject of the "interactive games" that they include. Anyways, that is merely my opinion but I'd like to hear what you all think!

Nice!
In the past year I've only checked out the bonus content on 2 movies I've watched. Harry potter 6 had a preview for Harry Potter 7 and in Inception I checked out the soundtrack in 5.1 DTS HD MA. Sounded pretty cool.
A lot of people are way in to the bonus material. Go check out bluray.com, people freak out about it. Which I'm cool with bonus stuff but usually would much rather just have 1 disc for the movie and pay less for it. I've checked out commentaries during movies and it's just not for me. I do like extended editions and alternate endings.Panny 55-st30 plasma

Extended editions, alternate endings and bonus footage on movies like Office Space, Avitar and maybe 3 other movies I have watched once. As for it being a selling point to purchasing? Not at all. Not even a thought.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

Outtakes are about it for me too. If I am REALLY interested in the movie I might watch the commentary of the making of, life I remember the commentary of a Beautiful Mind, and it was fascinating. But I have done that maybe five times in 10 years.
I agree that I want to lossless sound, not the extras, so I would like the option of paying less for just the movie.Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

The alternate ending thing is something I'd forgotten about. That interests me.
Does anyone remember one of the touted main features of DVD, multiple camera angles? It's pretty funny to think about now. I think the only DVD that I actually had with other angles was this demo disc that had an eagle flying around. I think that could actually be pretty cool if it were utilized in a way that made sense. maybe some mystery murder movie or something. or artsy high-drama. but the way they implemented it was terrible. Tere was nothing to cue you or to let you know there was an alternate angle. You had to just press it randomly and hope for the best.design is where science and art break even. -
Usually I have the disc back in the NetFlix wrapper & sealed to return before I even give extras a thought.Yep, my name really is Bob.
Parasound HCA1500A(indoor sound) and HCA1000(outdoor sound), Dynaco PAS4, Denon DP1200 w/Shure V15 Type V and Jico SAS stylus, Marantz UD7007, Polk L600, Rythmik L12 sub. -
If it's a movie I love, or that I find technically interesting (ie "How the hell did they DO that?!) I'll eventually get around to watching all the extras. And I'll usually watch outtakes because they make me laugh. The vast majority never get a second thought though. If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Other than watching the director comment version on Das Boot 10 years ago, I have never looked at the extras.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
Sony XA-5400ES SACD; Pass XP-22 pre; X600.5 amps
Magico S5 MKII Mcast Rose speakers; SPOD spikes
Shunyata Triton v3/Typhon QR on source, Denali 2000 (2) on amps
Shunyata Sigma XLR analog ICs, Sigma speaker cables

Mapleshade Samson V.3 four shelf solid maple rack, Micropoint brass footers
Three 20 amp circuits. -
The odd time, and depending what time of day I am watching the movie. I have rarely watched a movie with the extra sound tracks and cut aways features on. I think it would be cool, but by the time I re-watch the movie I don't bother with it.

For the most part I ignore the special features unless it a movie I'm really interested in and probably bought the disc so I could have the special features. My wife watches every special feature of every friggin thing we rent. At least it gives me time to go listen to some tunes or get some work done while she's watching the promotional movie rehash / "making of" featurette.

If I liked the movie, yes, obviously.
I rented 'Red' last weekend on BD, and was a little disappointed it was SD sq, as opposed HD. Also no bonus material? Don't know what the purpose of putting it on BD, if it's almost the same thing as SDVD?I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE! -
If I like the movie, I'll check out the extras. However, I never try out any gaming stuff that may be there...I don't play games.

Outtakes, Gag Reel, Line o Rama, that's it - and it better have been a damn funny movie to begin with. The others, deleted scenes, behind the scenes, etc, I have no interest in.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. If it was great movie I will check out the bonus stuff. On blue ray music videos I watch the interviews with the band. Overall I usually have a quick look sometimes it is quite fascinating and if you don’t look you don’t know what you might be missing.
Cheers

There's too much real content that I'll never be able to see. I can't be bothered with bonus material.
