Silly question to some I'm sure but have to ask
How important is the rca cables running from your pre to amp in a home theater deal?
I was connectiong my **o***a amp up to my pioneer receiver with monoprice rca cables and I think I should invest in better ones as I will be for sure buying a new amp and speakers shortly
What would you guys recommend for HT use ?
Are they less important and cheaper than a set of rca's you would use for connecting a cd player to a integrated tube amp?

I think the ***o**i*e cables you already have match up well with your *m***v* amp just fine. FTR, I don't think you'll notice much difference in HT by upgrading cables anyway. At least I didn't. I only ended up upgrading the ICs for my front three, and that was mainly to improve the sound of my L and R for occasional 2-channel enjoyment.

I noticed a difference. I also listen to 2 channel on my system and it was more of a difference there. From cheap rca's to Audioquest alpha snakes I could tell a difference. I then went from them to Signal Cable analog 2's and like them a lot better. I don't think i'm going to upgrade them any further as i'm very happy with the sound. I do think you'll notice an improvement, even in just HT.

I will be getting rid of the cables and the amp in that order so cables will be replaced first
Is there a certain length of cables I should go for ,distance is not an issue just wondering about the sonic characteristics of the length
I always see adds that catch my eye on audiogon offering MIT AVT2 10 foot rca from a seller named Joe Abrams' Equus Audio
Are the MIT's mention ed good for 2 ch and HT as they go for $123 a pair -
ideally, the length of your cables should only be as long as it takes to get connect the two in a neat fashiondesign is where science and art break even.
