I couldn't tell you! The specs are not that different and the Polk sub is a bit heavier. The Kllipsch, supposedly reaches lower. I've seen and heard it, it sounds a little sloppy with music to me but hits pretty hard for HT? The enclosure sounds hollow when you rap on it!

Both have 300 watt BASH amps?

    Your call?

If it costs more money to get the Klipsch over the PSW 505 I would keep the POLK. Its good for both Music and H/T. If you let the 505 go, you would be better off to get something like an SVS and really hear a difference. Why change if you won't notice any difference ?.....or maybe go backwards.
