So can a cartoon character run in CA now? I'd like to see Bugs or Sylvester on the ballot....

    Sufffffarin Succotash!!

Lets see, Arnold, Gary Coleman, and a **** star? Gary Coleman wants to drill for oil in all the national forests, and the **** queen wants to start a 'guns for ****' program? Trade in your guns, get free ****.

Then of course we have the cleft mouthed Larry Flint, who wants to legalize prostitution, and put a slot machine at every stop-n-stab. Can't wait to see Chester The Molestor in political cartoons. Image the urinal mints at city hall!

This is GREAT. I can't WAIT to see what develops. Hell, I may move to CA and run. "Good sound for ALL people" I'll start a statewide 2ch fund for the poor.

    Cheers,
    Rooster

Arnold is actually quite knowledgeable on politics. Fiscally Conservative, and socially Liberal. It's definitely an upgrade from Gray 'Out' Davis.

I'm glad I don't live in California anymore.

    Ron,
Wouldn't a Running Man poster be more appropriate?
    More later,

Yes it would, but I could not find one.

As for Arnold running, I think it's great and he's got my vote so far. He has a very extensive political backround.

Russ, the **** star actually wants to put a 20% tax on breast inplants. She said with all the money that they would make in B.H. they'd make millions...

I'm not too familiar with Arnolds political background other than being married to Schreiver and being the health nut under Bush I.

Ya, I sort of have a gut feeling he is going to win. There are 'some people' saying that the GOP is hypocritical for slamming all the liberal actors involved in politics, like Sean Penn, etc, when they have Reagan and Arnold. But the comeback was ... the conservative actors tend to actually run for office and get involved, and not just toss grenades from the wings.

I just really hope that if he DOES win, he follows through with actions to back his words and doesn't become some sort of joke. I don't think it will really harm him, but I think he made a tactical error in announcing from The Tonight Show.. it only emboldened the side-show image that California politics appear to have become of late. Arnold really is a smart guy, he really does have convictions and, I believe, a sense of wanting to make things better. He certainly doesn't need to be governor for a fix of fame or power.

The funniest thing I've heard in all this is.. imagine the debate between Arnold and Arianna Huffington... there won't be an R or L to be heard..... Aw.. Awianna... you aw no Mawia... . Oh Awnod.. dat was a whoa bwow...

Geez... Arnold... honestly.. is there a 'better' story of living the American Dream??
